The 19th ranked team in 17u won three games including a three score win over [program_tooltip program_id='2076003' first='West' last='Central United'] for the weekend championship at their level. They won the Heat Summer Showcase top division</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Minnesota Hurricanes won the other division beating Forward Thinking, [program_tooltip program_id='2075449' first='East' last='Metro Bounce'] Silver and a Sizzle team earning a weekend championship in the Heat Summer Showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite']. A couple weekends ago [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] went to Wisconsin for the Playmakers event and beat the Minnesota [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''], they beat a [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle'] MN team, and then beat G-Elite from Wisconsin earning an undefeated mark in the pool. There was a last game listed but no result. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>A Strong 3-1/4-1 Showing</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Forward Thinking had a very good weekend beating ranked Showtime in a two score game, they beat the Bulldogs in a two score game, and then lost a two score game to the Hurricanes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2076003' first='West' last='Central United'] won their pool in the Heat Summer Showcase and then lost a close game in the title contest to the Bounce Black squad. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Playmakers North from the Duluth area knocked off a Sizzle team and a [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''] team in Wisconsin in the Playmakers tournament and then beat a Wisconsin team but lost to an Iowa team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Next Weekend!</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Not aware of anything for next weekend in AAU.
