Goodell is a player we did not know about heading into club season, but that quickly changed as he became a top performer at our event a couple of weeks back for Rocky Mountain Rebound, as he was very impactful with his movement, and he got after it on both ends of the floor. His toughness shone through as he is a glass cleaner; he created extra possession for his teammates, went right up with boards, and got out and scored in transition. Defense is where he can make his bread and butter as he anticipates passing lanes with steals, stays engaged, and just seems to be in the right spots. He’s still growing into his overall game, but the willingness to commit to doing the dirty work absolutely caught our attention.

Goodell stood out as a high energy contributor who embraced the physical aspects of the game. He was active on the glass, consistently crashing the boards and competing for rebounds on both ends. Defensively, Goodell showed strong instincts by getting into passing lanes and creating opportunities for turnovers. Offensively, he was effective around the rim, using his effort and positioning to finish inside. His hustle and willingness to do the little things helped provide momentum for his team. Goodell’s impact was felt in multiple areas, making him a reliable presence throughout the course of the event.
