Holness, a guard out of the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Massachusetts, makes his first appearance in the rankings at #152. Holness, an athletic lefty, can really shoot the basketball when he gets his feet set, while also showing the ability to attack long closeouts and finish strong at the rim. He covers ground quickly with long strides and is a fluid athlete in his movements on both ends of the floor. He’s a plus two-way rebounder, has the ability to operate as a secondary ball-handler, and can be incredibly disruptive off of the ball defensively, particularly when jumping passing lanes.

Holness is a sleeper in New England. He doesn’t play for a sponsored AAU team and he’s probably getting overlooked by colleges because he plays with star PG Jonathan White, but the 6-foot-3 wing has some super intriguing skills. He can make shots from long range—he hit a few important ones against Holderness to briefly keep BB&N in the game—but he also has some really impressive extended finishes at the rim. The lefty has excellent length and could certainly still be growing, and he could be significantly more dangerous as a rim attacker once that happens. Holness could see his recruitment skyrocket if he undergoes the physical growth I’m expecting.

Holness, a wing out of Buckingham Browne & Nichols, has some intriguing tools and the ability to develop into a really nice prospect. The long lefty is a plus athlete that does a great job of leveraging his ability to shoot the basketball to open up driving lanes. He has some wiggle off the bounce and does a good job of using his length to finish at the rim, while also showing that he can knock down shots in bunches from behind the arc. Defensively, he can guard up and down a position and is active on the glass.

Holness – the clear primary creator for the Boston Warriors – has an intriguing set of skills and physical tools. The 6-foot-3 combo guard has great positional length and size for his age but also has some really interesting offensive ability. The southpaw can finish at the rim with contact using both hands, and he has the handle needed to get two feet in the paint consistently. He also makes nice decisions for himself and his teammates once he gets to the nail. Some added strength would be really big for his development, but he should be one of BB&N’s key players this season.
