is a player who stood out for me simply because he brought something that you do not see a ton of at events: a willing passer. Johnson’s court awareness stood out as he was pushing the pace, passing teammates into open baskets, and handling ball pressure well. He’s a guard who makes the extra pass and teammates look comfortable when he has the ball in his hands. He also had his moments where he looked to score and had plenty of left-hand finishes in traffic, got to his spots in the middle of the defense, and kept the offense flowing. He’s a new name to know for me that I enjoyed watching on the weekend.
