A true two-way talent, Ruffin consistently found ways to impact the game on both ends of the floor. His body control is second to none and he makes up for his size with both his hustle and basketball IQ. Ruffin and fellow next-level prospect, Darrius Hawkins Darrius Hawkins 5'10" | PG Homewood Flossmoor | 2028 State IL , had great chemistry all day and could dominate in a two-man game. Ruffin showed pesky hands on defense and brought the same level of aggression to the offensive end, finishing several plays with emphatic dunks that made the crowd go wild.

Intriguing guard prospect out of Illinois that plays with an extremely high motor and just great energy on both ends of the floor. Only 5’10” but versatile defender with his strength capable of guarding multiple positions. Rebounds well out of the guard spot and was excellent in transition. Downhill driver that absorbs contact in the lane and finishes strong at the rim. Capable shooter, but thrives getting downhill creating looks for himself and others.

Ruffin’s a super physical guard on Hoops4Health who uses elite upper-body strength to finish through tight windows attacking the rim. I love the explosive bounce and the strides he makes attacking the hoop which makes difficult conversion inside look significantly easier. A vocal leader with good communication skills and hustle on the other end of the floor. Can be a shooting guard but also a point.

Caught Ruffin’s H4H squad in early afternoon contest. He did an excellent job at running the point role. His quick first step allows him to get a leg on the defender in multiple facets. In the fast break phase, he excelled at speeding up tempo for pitch aheads or getting an outlet and immediately pushing up the floor. He brings along in his arsenal an adequate jumper with a pure release from mid range. Has a bull dog mentality once in the paint to bump off defenders and still fight his way through contact to convert. Serves as a competitor all around.
