The Top 15 prospects are committed to Division I programs from UNC to South Carolina to Princeton, a number of high-profile conferences are represented in the 2025 rankings. 16 prospects remained unsigned in the Top 50 of the 2025 rankings in North Carolina. Stretch that to the Top 100, only 36 more prospects in the Top 100 remain unsigned in the 2025 rankings in North Carolina. It shows just how vast the talent is across the board in the state.

Keith has shown his growth over the years at Southern Durham and was masterful in leading them to the NCHSAA 3A State Championship game with his slew of double-doubles. The Spartans fell short 64-62 in overtime but Keith still finished with 23 points and eight rebounds on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor. He put up 30 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks on 9-of-19 shooting from the field and 11-of-13 from the free throw line in their East Region victory over Swansboro. He's a culture-changer with his versatility and work ethic headed to Butler in the Big East.

Cross is an NCISAA State Champion going away before he travels a short distance to Charlotte to begin his career in the Conference USA. He's a matchup nightmare at the guard position at 6-foot-4 who put on a show in leading Caldwell Academy to the NCISAA 3A State Championship. He's shown he can finish at the rim and create in isolation with relative ease, something that should carry him at the next level. He's set to make waves with his college-ready frame soon enough.

Traylor took home back-to-back state championships with North Mecklenburg and takes home three state titles as he heads off to the College of Charleston. He checks in at the No. 9 position in the Top 10 of the final rankings update for the 2025 class following 22-point and 15-point performances for the Vikings in the State Championship and Region Finals, respectively. He also dished out nine assists and showed off his efficiency in getting to the free throw line and knocking down shots getting to the paint.

Bowden is a point guard prospect still drawing interest after a strong senior year at Ambassador Christian. The 6-foot-1 shifty floor general produced 15.7 points, 4.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game on 53 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent shooting from deep as he continues to develop his game. He recently worked out for Stony Brook University and drew interest from Southern Illinois as he continues to emerge as a DI target on the recruiting scene. He's a prospect to keep a close eye on over the next few months.

Smith is another prospect who remains unsigned in the 2025 rankings out of 1 of 1 Academy. He could certainly bolster any frontcourt at the D1 level given his activity inside and out on the hardwood. He produced 11.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in the OTE Playoffs this season. During the regular season, he produced 10.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 blocks per game. He's a big man with size and presence around the rim still available in the 2025 class.

Hall is a versatile forward who excelled in the Winston-Salem Christian School frontcourt this season on the postgrad scene. He's a forward with nice touch and feel in the painted area as a back-to-the-basket option as well as a rim threat. Defensively, he's got solid instincts as a rebounder and shot-blocker, making him a hot commodity for any D1 program in need of a big man. He averaged 7.3 rebounds per game in the Elite Prep League in 2024-25.

Freeman remains a rising name to know in the 2025 rankings. He had a strong senior season in the Ardrey Kell backcourt in showcasing his abilities as a DI prospect. He put up 24.2 points, 3.6 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game on 47 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent shooting from 3-point land in 2024-25 in leading the Knights to an 18-8 record. At 6-foot-4, his ability to make things happen and score with efficiency are an asset for programs at the next level. With more talent around him, his playmaking ability will only grow.

The District I Player of the Year in the NCHSAA ranks remains unsigned and available at the 25th spot in the 2025 rankings. He racked up 83 3-pointers while averaging 27.8 points per game for First Flight this season. He totaled over 2,490 points while knocking down 367 3-pointers in his career with the Nighthawks. Dobie opened the season with games of 49 and 45 points and even put up 50 against Currituck County in an 85-77 victory back on Feb. 18. His ability to score the ball in isolation makes him a top unsigned prospect in the class for DI and DII programs to get on their radar.
