One of the more impressive small-town prospects in Ohio's 2027 class, Myers helped push River Valley all the way to the regional title in Division IV. A physical forward who rebounds the ball at a high level and flashed impressive 3-point shooting ability in the playoff game I caught, Myers will be a prospect who will turn a lot of heads over the next two years.

One of the most productive bigs in the Columbus City League as just a Sophomore, Moultry had a handful of double-doubles and was near the league leaders in rebounds and blocks. Still has some development to make offensively but he shows good basketball IQ with the ball in his hands and does the things I want young bigs to focus on offensively like rolling to the rim, catching passes and kicking out of double teams. Interesting player who should continue to improve.

Another Columbus City League standout, Mburugu played on a very talented Northland team and found his niche as an energy piece who also could play in transition as an athlete. I also liked that Mburugu flashed some perimeter shooting ability as well. I'll be curious to see how Mburugu expands as a player because his physical tools are quite intriguing and he plays with high energy as well. Name to watch in the Columbus City League over the next two seasons.

I liked Spikes rim protection and overall activity on the defensive end of the court when I caught VASJ this season. With his length, size and basketball IQ, Spikes is a good help-side rim protector who can slide in and contest layups against guards or wall up against opposing bigs. Offensively, Spikes showed flashes of being able to handle the ball and shoot it from the perimeter as both skills are currently being developed. Under the radar name in northeast Ohio who could breakout next season.
