Waylon Woda
About Waylon
Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Woda came off the bench for the varsity squad at Mukwonago as a sophomore and often gave his squad an infusion of energy. Saturday in Stoughton, Woda did the same, but this time he provided both energy and points. Woda scored from different spots on the floor and in different ways in helping 24: Up’s balanced 16U squad to a win over the Team 1848 – Seth outfit. Woda scored 11 points in the contest, putting in layups in transition, making a three-point shot and getting from mid-range scorers to help his team advance in the event.

Waylon offered an additional ball handling presence for Team 3, as he has the skillset to play either guard spot. Had a really nice underhand scoop assist to set up his teammate for an easy bucket at one point, showing some impressive vision and creativity. Towards the end of the game he displayed good strength to simply bully his way through an opposing guard to get to the rim and finish.
