The NJSIAA state tournament is almost over as the sectional semifinals tipped off yesterday. Some prospects had major performances during the semifinals, raising their stocks in a big way. Here are the stock-risers from the NJSIAA semifinals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194744' first='AJ' last='Greig'], 6'4 SG/SF Ramapo 2028

Greig has been playing well all season for the Raiders, but saved his best performance for the semifinals as he finished with a career-high 26 points. The 6'4 wing was aggressive off the bounce as he was able to get to the rim and finished nicely around the rim. Greig rose up over smaller defenders on his jumper and shot the ball with confidence from the perimeter. He moved well without the ball in his hands and used his length to be disruptive on the defensive end. Greig has been playing at a high level for Ramapo during the sectional tournament and is looking to carry his form over into the sectional final.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347936' first='Devin' last='Williams'], 6'2 SG Woodbury 2027

Williams' stock has been shooting up all season and that continued in the sectional semifinal. The 6'2 guard showed off his quick release on his jumper and buried triples in bunches when given space. Williams also showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and was unafraid of taking big shots down the stretch. He slid his feet well on the defensive end and showed the ability to run the offense at times. Williams is averaging 25.7 points per game during the sectional tournament and should continue his scoring streak during the sectional final.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411664' first='Malcolm' last='Bragg'], 6'3 SF Newark Tech 2025

Bragg has been powering the Terriers' attack during the sectional tournament and he did so again in the semifinals with 30 points and seven rebounds. The 6'3 wing used his handle to get to his spot on the floor and showed a good touch in the mid-range. Bragg pushed the ball well in transition and rarely made bad decisions with the ball in his hands during the game. He showed the ability to defend multiple positions on the floor and ripped down rebounds at both ends of the floor. Bragg has put his versatility on display all season for Newark Tech and will continue to do so in the sectional final against Arts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1886844' first='Joel' last='Cineus'], 6'5 PF Ewing 2025

Cineus has been playing at a high level during the state tournament and continued it in the semifinals with a season-high 29 points. The 6'5 forward used his strong frame to get position down low and showed off a good touch around the basket. Cineus has a nice faceup game as he can put the ball on the floor and showed a high release on his free throws. He was a force on the boards at both ends of the floor and used his size to influence shots around the rim. Cineus is 11 points away from joining the 1,000-point club and should get there during the sectional final.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763389' first='Lukas' last='Sloane'], 6'2 SG Colts Neck 2025

Sloane's stock has been rising since the start of the season and it went even higher during the sectional semifinals with 27 points. The 6'2 lefty was able to get into the paint at will and finished in a variety of ways around the rim. Sloane showed off a smooth release on his jumper and set his feet before he shot. He rarely got rattled by on-ball pressure and was able to draw contact when he attacked the basket. Sloane is averaging nearly 25 points per game during the state tournament and will look to continue his hot scoring in the final.
