Showed a feel for playing within the flow of the game on both ends. Offensively, moved well without the ball and showed an understanding of how to create opportunities for teammates, while also making the right reads when attacking. Defensively, liked his awareness in rotations and ability to play the gaps. Solid overall feel and willingness to do the little things.

It’s hard not to be a fan of Pharthong’s game. He plays with such confident handles and an attacking mindset, consistently using his skills to get downhill and put pressure on the defense. Pharthong scored at all three levels – including from deep – and was equally as effective creating for others as creating for himself.

As a guard, Jacob Pharthong’s activity on the glass was impressive, using his first and second jump to outleap opponents for rebounds, especially on the offensive end where he created second-chance shots and extended possessions consistently. A lefty with a quick first step, Pharthong also displayed sharp court awareness with his passing, spotting cross-court openings on the wing and backdoor cutters along the baseline.
