Friday Night Preview: Big Games on the Line

In their first meeting WX was able to get out to a big start and able to hold off a Bountiful run late in the game. [player_tooltip player_id='1724359' first='Madden' last='Johnsen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2380893' first='Elliot' last='Bendinger'] where huge in this game as they scored and rebounded the ball at an elite level. [player_tooltip player_id='1185170' first='Hunter' last='Jackson'] was great on the glass and he was handing out assist left and right. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bountiful got 4 threes and a double-double out of [player_tooltip player_id='1164728' first='Charlie' last='Smith'] in game one. Things have changed a bit since the first meeting as Bountiful i on a really good winning streak. [player_tooltip player_id='2347484' first='Bryson' last='Heath'] and Wyatt Crane have stepped their game up. This game will be a battle and will impact seeding. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Westlake vs. Lone Peak</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is a big game for both teams as they look to get traction here before the playoffs get rolling. Westlake is in need of a big win. [player_tooltip player_id='2536877' first='Beckham' last='Featherstone'] has been big for Westlake as of late and if he can continue to produce this team could really pick things up. [player_tooltip player_id='1476918' first='Graydin' last='Anderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1571770' first='Symon' last='Sua'] have been solid and they will need to step up and I really like what [player_tooltip player_id='1571764' first='Kyler' last='Hadfield'] brings to the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Bingham vs. Corner Canyon</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bingham pulled out a really good win at Corner Canyon in the first meeting between the teams and the kid that really stood out was [player_tooltip player_id='2563970' first='Lucas' last='Neidig'] the big fella can play and he is a player that college coaches need to take a serious look at, especially those D2 or NAIA type colleges. Brayden Erockson and [player_tooltip player_id='2539814' first='Denzel' last='Peoples'] will need to have good games as will Parker Sneadeker. If the miners can get solid play from them and [player_tooltip player_id='1146657' first='Jason' last='Peterson'] the Miners could pull out another good win. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Corner Canyon is starting to roll and they are on a 4 game win streak and are starting to play well. This is great for CCHS as they can always rely on [player_tooltip player_id='1190620' first='Bryton' last='Valdes'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1190621' first='Noah' last='Bendinger'].
