Top Juniors from Day 1 of Holiday Hoopla

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend I went to 10 games in two days seeing teams from all over Ohio. Friday I was at Day 1 of the Holiday Hoopla at the Columbus Convention Center. Then on Saturday, I went to Central Catholic vs Lima Senior as Lima got the 14-point win and to the Steve Williams Classic Championship game as Perrysburg got the win over Liberty-Benton 69-62. The Tigers started this game by jumping out on St. Ed's and Donovan knocked down multiple threes to open the game up. He would continue this trend for the rest of the game. He also used his length well. He grabbed a good number of rebounds. He is not the tallest forward but his presence in the post was massive. He posts up strong.  He was a monster on the board on both ends. He attacks the glass with relentless effort. He has a good handle on the ball as well. He can make a move and get to the rim. He is a shorter guard, but he finished at the rim greatly. He is an explosive athlete who has a great first step that can get by anyone. This allowed him to get downhill and show off his good touch in the lane. Then one of his best abilities is knocking down highly contested shots. He elevates high on his jump shots combined with his length his shot is tough to contest. He carries a lot of gravity on the court. When he has the ball in his hands you can see the defense focus on him and step into major help-side defense. He was getting to the rim easily and was tough to stop. He would end up at the free throw line a lot throughout the game because he would look for contact when driving to the rim.
