Calo is one of the top unsigned seniors in Ohio and showed exactly why on Sunday with a dynamic scoring performance. Few players can match Calo's shooting ability, creativity on the ball and size. I also like the fact Calo usually plays off two feet when he's attacking the rim. Another part of his game that was on display was his ability to knock down shots off the catch, not needing to put the ball on the floor. I think Calo has a ton of offensive upside at the college level and Lutheran West might start to turn a corner heading into 2025.

One of the elite shooters in northeast Ohio, Shenker is a player defenses need to monitor wherever he is on the court. I was impressed with his ability to hit some deep 3-pointers by running off screens or spotting up. I'll be curious to see what Shenker looks like at the college level, he's got a clear role as a floor spacer and can get hot in a hurry.

Warrensville Heights got maybe their biggest win in recent memory over Lutheran East in one of the most exciting games I've seen this season. Chambers was really impressive defensively on the ball, a skill I hadn't really seen from him before. What Chambers has always been gifted at is scoring the basketball and he hit a couple of clutch 3-pointers and floaters to help push his team ahead. Warrensville Heights is a team I underrated this winter that looks poised to potentially win a second straight district title.

Anderson plays for hardwork basketball on the grassroots level and that name is fitting for his style of play. A strong guard who provides toughness and grit, Anderson made winning plays. The lefty had a couple putback layups, steals and got after loose balls. At the end of the game, Anderson's dunk with under a minute to play helped seal the deal in the statement victory.

One of the top scorers in Michigan's 2026 class, Medlock Jr already went over the 1,000 point mark the night prior as Wayne Memorial went 2-0 against strong northeast Ohio competition. An elite shooter off the dribble, Medlock Jr is a tough cover on the perimeter. With a handful of regional Division I coaches in attendance, Medlock Jr made the most of his opportunity in Cleveland this weekend with two strong performances.

After struggling from the floor to open the game, Compton had a strong second quarter run to help bring Elyria back competitive with the talented Wayne Memorial squad out of Michigan. Compton can knock down shots from the perimeter and did a nice job getting to the foul line as well. I also thought Compton had some tough rebounds in traffic, an area of his game I want to see more consistently. Elyria has had their ups and downs in their early season schedule but they have the talent to hit their stride in conference play.
