Expert Analysis
Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Reis, a guard out of Portsmouth High School in New Hampshire, wrapped up his career as a 1,000 point scorer and an all-state honorable mention selection. The 6’0″ guard averaged 12.1 points per game this winter, scoring it in a variety of ways and impressing particularly as a shooter from behind the arc. He’s always shot ready on the catch and does a nice job of elevating into his jumper, allowing him to get it off quickly and over the defense. He has a compact build and plays with strength as a driver, showing the ability to finish through contact at the rim. Defensively, he can guard either back-court spot, showing an understanding of angles and how to keep opponents out of the paint. He remains undecided on a college destination.
