Clarksville Crossover got a nice win on Sunday to wrap up their weekend and Taylor impressed as the wing is an explosive athlete who can play above the rim. Taylor almost threw down the poster dunk of the weekend but ended up actually knocking down a corner 3-pointer later that possession. Taylor also used his frame and athleticism to get a contested offensive rebound that led to an assist for an and-1 layup late in the game. Looking at Taylor’s talent physically and athletically on the hardwood, it is no surprise that he holds a handful of Division I football offers.

3/19/26: Darion was tremendous, as always. He scored 25 points along with six rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocks. Darion dominates Class A basketball games always. This was the typical performance. Taylor and his Vikings are searching for their first State Championship since 2013 and their first State Championship appearance since 2019. “He is a good all-around person,” said Humboldt Head Coach Ronald Abernathy. “He is a great kid. Great student. Raw athlete. Whatever he works hard at, he gets it done. It is hard to find kids that work as hard as he does with the potential that he has. When kids are as good as he is they kind of take the backseat and relax.”
