#20 [player_tooltip player_id='2612817' first='Colin' last='Byrd'] | 6'4” SG | Paul VI

Byrd didn't play much last year on PVI's nationally ranked team that finished as national runner-ups in the Chipotle National Championship, but this summer he showed he's going to be a huge part of their team over the next few years. The 6'4” wing is the classic 3-and-d archetype as he's a big wing who brings great energy defensively, he shoots the ball at a very high clip from deep and hep lays with great passion on both ends of the floor.

#27 [player_tooltip player_id='2612827' first='Logan' last='Jones'] | 6'6” SF | Potomac School

Jones is another new name in the DMV that had a breakout summer with Potomac School, and his blend of size, athleticism, skill and motor makes him super productive on both ends of the floor. At 6'6” he's able to play and guard multiple positions for his team, he's a big time athlete who plays above the rim and is a big time rebounder, he has tons of room to continue to develop his ball skills and he plays very hard on both ends of the floor.

#37 [player_tooltip player_id='2612850' first='Jafet' last='Valencia'] | 6'6” SF | Evergreen Christian

Valencia makes his debut in the rankings after transferring from Veritas to Evergreen Christian, and he's a player that could easily move up these rankings as he checks a lot of boxes coaches look for and still has a lot of room to develop. The 6'6” wing has prototypical D1 size on the perimeter, he has great ball skills with the ability to create shots for himself and others off the bounce, he's a three level scorer and a very good athlete as well.

#40 [player_tooltip player_id='2561115' first='Jack' last='Castner'] | 6'4” SG | Western Albemarle

Caster is set to be the breakout player in the Charlottesville area this year, as he is coming off a big summer and is a name that college coaches should get familiar with ASAP. The 6'4” off guard is an absolute driller from deep with effortless range, he works extremely well off the ball and sets his feet quickly on the move, he has long arms and is active defensively and he's a high IQ player who makes the right play consistently.

#42 [player_tooltip player_id='2612840' first='Abraham' last='Taft'] | 6'5” SF | Hampton

Taft had a great sophomore season helping lead Hampton to a VHSL Class 4 state championship last year, and he's one of the more intriguing long term prospects in the 757 with his upside. At 6'5” he's a big time athlete who thrives in transition with his ability to play above the rim, he's a very good rebounder and shot blocker, he can make open shots and he continues to get better every day.

#48 [player_tooltip player_id='1767550' first='Andrew' last='Maria'] | 6'4” CG | Bethel Academy

Maria transferred to Bethel Academy after being a star at Yorktown the last few years, and he reclassified to the 2026 class which should bold well for him with his recruitment as he continues to develop and grow. At 6'4” he's a combo guard who is crafty off the bounce and can deliver passes on time, he uses fakes well and has great footwork, he can score the ball from multiple levels and he is an underrated athlete as well.

#74 [player_tooltip player_id='2309973' first='Kobe' last='Morrison'] | 6'1” CG | GW Danville

Morrison was an All State selection at Tunstall before transferring to GW Danville this season, and he's one of the best prospects in the Martinsville/Danville area and is set to have a huge junior season for the Eagles. The 6'1” guard is shifty off the bounce with the ability to create space easily and hit tough shots in the midrange, he can knock it down from deep off the catch at a good clip and he is a good athlete and finisher as well.
