Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We've been able to flex our muscles here in the month of September hosting three outstanding events featuring well over 300 prospects from across the Hoosier state. First, it was our annual Freshman Showcase and newly formed Sophomore ID Camp that we hosted back on Sunday, September 8th. Both events were a massive success. Then, on Sunday, September 22nd we hosted “The Expo” which featured juniors and seniors looking to gain exposure in front of college coaches. As always, our scouting staff will be releasing team-by-team evaluations highlighting every single prospect in attendance. Here are our evaluations on the prospects that made up Team 1.

One of just a couple of prospects that came from outside of Indiana, Winningham is a 5'8" point guard from Lawrenceville High School in Illinois. Despite his smaller size, Winningham was very willing to mix it up against larger defenders. He displayed a tight handle playing off of ballscreens and knocked down a couple of outside shots during 5-on-5 play. Tough, hard-nosed guard with enough ball skill to make things happen offensively.

A talented guard out of Lawrence Central High School, L'homme absolutely went off from beyond the arc in his second of two 5-on-5 contests at The Expo. He was progressively making them from further and further away before finishing with probably something in the range of five three-point shots and upwards of 20 points in the game. L'homme was settling behind the ballscreen to make them off of the dribble and simply dribbling into pull-ups in transition.

Juraskovich stood out as a catch-and-shoot threat on the perimeter at The Expo. The 6'4" Madison High School product made a handful of outside shots which then loosened up the defense enough for him to attack closeouts and finish with a little floater in the lane. His long, lean frame is perfect for operating out on the perimeter and then slashing into the paint where he can use that size to finish. Intriguing senior to keep an eye on this winter.

We highlighted this Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School product as one of our top performers from the event. Teschendorf certainly had the highlight of The Expo with a head-turning dunk through traffic in the lane. However, the explosive 6'2" guard did much more than just that. He was effective as a passer throughout 5-on-5 play, consistently got to the rim to finish, and rebounded well from the guard spot. Teschendorf currently holds a pair of Division III offers from Manchester and Millikin.

Donnelly has a strong, athletic frame which he used to cause some mismatch issues for the opposing defense. He was effective in transition, slashing to the basket in the half court, and displayed some versatility on the defensive end of the floor. The 6'3" wing scored off of the throw ahead in transition when he could run the sideline and drive it right. He proved to be an effective offensive rebounder as well. Under-the-radar senior from Whitko High School.

You won't find many more effective offensive rebounders than Terry. The 6'3"-6'4" senior forward from Lawrence North High School is a bit undersized as an interior guy, but makes up for it with high-level physicality, strength, and a great motor. Whether he was doing the dirty work on the glass or beating the defense down the floor as a rim runner, Terry found ways to be effective at The Expo on Sunday.

Another top performer from The Expo on Team 1, [player_tooltip player_id='1561109' first='Jamar' last='Thomas'] is a Top 15 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings. The 6'4" guard is one of the more impressive, up-and-coming two-way guards in the state. His defensive upside is really impressive with his combination of athleticism and length. Offensively, Thomas handles the ball well and can play well above the rim. There are a lot of tools for Division I programs to like as he enters his junior year at Lawrence North High School.

It isn't often that we cover an event like this and truly discover a new prospect. While I had seen Harvey a couple of times over the summer and was intrigued, he really broke out on Sunday evening at The Expo. Ben Davis already has one of the best front courts in the state, but the 6'8″ Harvey is ready to make an impact while adding some depth as a junior. He plays with an outstanding motor which allowed him to dominate on the rim run and on the offensive glass throughout the event. Harvey consistently finished with two hands above the rim and showed that he can score with either hand on the block. High-upside, under-the-radar prospect.
