2024 Toledo Top 64 – Red Team Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2024 Toledo Top 64 is back for its 4th year as it will be held on Sunday, September 29th at Toledo Scott High School. This event brings some of the best players in the NWO area under one roof so that college coaches can come to watch them compete against each other. Plan and simple he is one of the top prospects in the event and the state. He is ranked #1 in the 2027 PrepHoops Ohio rankings for good reason. He is an elite player. He has some high-level athletic ability. He is usually the most athletic player on the floor and has a real bounce in his step. He is an elite transition player and will dunk on you. He has an aggressive and confident slashing ability. The last time I watched him play, he seemed to be getting more efficient with his 3-point shooting. He is listed as a 6'8 forward who can step out and shoot it too. He is a great modern-day player who has a good touch, can move well, and understands the game. He is elite in the on-ball screens because he can do any option in the screener position. He has come out of the gym bounce. He is a great two-foot jumper who wants to put on a show and dunk it as much as he can. He is aggressive when slashing and taking it to the rim but is an elite transition player. He is a kid you would love to coach because he is so consistent because what he does best is about effort and energy. He is a pest on the defensive end and is willing to pick anyone up full-court. He plays so hard every time I have seen him play as well. He does a good job of running the offense and knowing his role offensively. He is ultra-quick and a problem on defense. Stokes has some of the quickest hands I have seen. If you are loose with the ball then he will steal it. He does a good job of taking calculated risks on when to try and take the ball from you. My favorite part about him is he plays his best when it is a big game. He has some next-level athleticism right now and is such a raw player that you can tell just tries to do things on the court. He can do things others can't do. He is a great slasher and transition player. This sophomore is a great athlete who can play above the rim and is an elite transition player. He does a good job of finishing with both hands. He is a good defender as well. He has a good build with some nice size. He will be a player that Maumee Valley leans onto as a sophomore. He is a great slasher and defender. He uses contact and dictates contact well. He gets to his spot super well and has a good touch around the rim.
