Varsity Fall League: Sunday’s Standouts

He does a fantastic job using his speed to get to the cup. There were also a few times where he kept his eyes up as he drove with the ball and found his teammates for easy lay ups. On defense he is very active with his hands and does not make it easy for opposing players to get by him. He really got going in the second half and hit threes on back to back possessions. I liked his defensive play as well. The 2027 guard is quite fast and hit some really tough lay ups against Desert Pines. He also proved to be one of the better shooters in the game and connected on multiple three pointers. Udom is incredibly athletic and had a few highlight reel plays, including a hard slam dunk in the second half. I really liked his ability to create his own shot. He also scored on some second chance opportunities. He was disrupting pass after pass on Sunday and did not make it easy for the Mustangs to move the ball around. In the second half he had a nice steal that lead to an easy two for himself and a three the very next possession.
