EXPO 5th Team Standouts

Sunday Prep Hoops Arizona had the annual EXPO Showcase which was hosted at Inspire Courts in Gilbert, AZ. We had right around 80 players from the 2025-2027 classes who were competing in a few games of 3 on 3 followed by the regular 5 on 5 setting.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here were the 5th Team Standouts</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='2052364' first='Nitai' last='Buchler']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nitai-buchler/"></a><a></a> Tucson   A power forward with skill and a good feel for where his teammates are on the court. He is a good passer out of the high post or near the hoop. He will score on offensive rebound put backs, good footwork inside for reverse layups and he blocks shots in his area. Once he gets eligible from the transfer, he should help them up front.   [player_tooltip player_id='2330556' first='Noah' last='Garven']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/noah-garven/"></a><a></a> Mesquite   A dynamic scoring point guard who seems to keep growing is a very fluid ball handler. He has a tight handle with shift to create separation from his defenders. He is very good on the break to find a teammate or to score. He can shoot it from mid-range with pull-ups and hit the three off the dribble. He will be a big part the future success of the Wildcats.   [player_tooltip player_id='1555149' first='Bryson' last='Krueger II']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/bryson-krueger-ii/"></a><a></a> Desert Ridge   A long wing forward grew 1-2 inches and is getting stronger as well. He can shoot it from the perimeter but prefers to get inside and get downhill in traffic using his strength, handle and longer strides. He plays fundamentally sound defense and he is an unselfish player. His best basketball is clearly ahead of him.   [player_tooltip player_id='2291976' first='Collin' last='Kvamme']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/collin-kvamme/"></a><a></a> Campo Verde   An undersized highly skilled scoring point guard has a knack for putting the ball in the net. He has deep three point range and he plays the game with a high IQ and a good feel to see the open man quickly. His deep range sets him apart from some others to go along with his passing skills.   [player_tooltip player_id='2533601' first='Xavier' last='Ledet']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/xavier-ledet/"></a><a></a> Cactus   A talented combo guard is wired to score. He is a physical on-ball defender and shows toughness in every game. The lefty is a three point shooter with super high confidence. He can pull-up from the three off the dribble and rattle off triples.   [player_tooltip player_id='2280207' first='Jackson' last='Moore']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jackson-moore-2/"></a> Cienega (Pictured)   A pure point guard is very physical with toughness. He has a super tight handle and will get downhill with his strength and handle in close spaces. He is definitely a capable three point shooter and will pull-up from mid but is best getting to the basket and facilitating.   Ruben Pena Jr Paraclete/CA   A six-foot three senior wing from California is skilled, tough and plays with a big IQ. He can score with threes in bunches and he is a great passer up the court and finds teammates easily. He will rebound inside and plays the game the right way with cuts and team defense.   [player_tooltip player_id='2322554' first='Vinny' last='Rodriguez']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/vinny-rodriguez/"></a><a></a> Cesar Chavez   A tough undersized scoring point guard can score. He will catch and shoot from the three and runs the court well. He has real quickness to get to the basket and speed to burn in the open court.   Davi Santistevan Rio Rancho/NM   A five-foot ten pure point guard from New Mexico plays the right way. He will throw up the court passes and has a little flash with his passes with some moxie. He can get to the basket with a burst and hit the catch three.   [player_tooltip player_id='2559538' first='Notorious' last='Street']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/notorious-street/"></a><a></a> San Tan Charter   A pure point guard who is a two-way player. He is very quick on the ball defensively and has quick feet and hands. He will drive and kick it to a shooter and find teammates on a rope down the court. He gets downhill with a burst and speed but his passing and defense stood out.
