A long-range shooter with an incredibly easy and effortless release off the catch. Groom’s mechanics are a recipe for sharpshooter potential, pure, smooth, and lightning-quick with balanced elevation. Groom needed very little space to get his jumper off, only a slight view of the rim. Coming off pin-downs, Groom’s footwork was precise and efficient, consistently catching on two feet and squaring his shoulders to the basket.
