In this series, we will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and notable games for the upcoming season. Mullins comes into this upcoming high school season as the odds-on favorite to win Indiana Mr. Basketball as well as become an Indiana All-Star. Mullins has seen his recruitment explode over the past year having pretty much every high major program get involved in some degree including his final list of Indiana, Purdue, Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan, Alabama, UConn, Tennessee, Duke, and North Carolina. He returns for his senior season after averaging 25.0 ppg as a junior, proving to be one of the more versatile scores across the state and country. Mullins will lead a pack of Cougars that are looking to make a deep state title run.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1306153' first='Michael' last='Johnson']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'2" senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1306153' first='Michael' last='Johnson'] is one of the top transfers we saw take place over the offseason with him coming over to Greenfield-Central after leading Southport in scoring as a junior. As if Greenfield-Central was not strong enough, the addition of Johnson adds yet another dynamic ball-handler to a roster that is full of versatility. With how strong of a defensive team the Cougars are with their patented zone, Johnson's length is a major advantage as he will be one of the best true wing defenders on this squad. Offensively, Johnson is versatile enough to play on and off the ball with a smooth pace.
