Miller had a really strong showing with TLBA UA Rise 15u this past weekend with his inside/out offensive ability on full display. Miller blends his low post scoring over either shoulder with soft touch from beyond the arc off the catch when set. He’s a fundamentally sound young big man that brought consistent production and a real strong presence on the interior for this group. Defensively, he walls up well, competes with multiple efforts for rebounds when needed, and provides this group with an anchor on that end of the floor. Miller is a young big man in the 2029 class worth monitoring closely as he’s showing really promising signs at these early stages.

A more recent out-of-state transfer and reclass is Miller. He only recently confirmed a transfer to North Carolina and Overtime Elite’s Moravian Prep, and is running with Under Armour’s TLBA this summer. Now playing in the 15U division and checking in at 6’7″, Ebon has a major size advantage. However, not only is he a physically dominant player, but Miller is also very fundamentally sound. He works early for positioning in the post, stays big to be an easy receptor of entry passes, runs the floor well in transition, and keeps the ball high after rebounds on both ends. I only got to see one half from Miller and TLBA 2029, but Ebon’s 13 points led the way to a win, and there were even some flashes of a smooth jump shot that Miller will have in his arsenal for the future.

Ebon was one of the biggest standouts at the Prep Hoops SC Top 250 Expo, earning him a solid bump in the September Rankings. Miller has a well-built frame that is capable of banging around in the paint, but he is also a comfortable stretch option who will become more consistent over the next few years.
