Rutgers Prep wing [player_tooltip player_id='1456864' first='Myles' last='Parker'] committed to Marist on Monday, shrinking the pool of available talent in the 2025 class. The group still has prospects who can make an impact at the next level, including in Somerset County. Here are the top available 2025 Somerset County Prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='2339158' first='Bohdan' last='Biekietov'], 6'9 PF Montgomery

Biekietov is the top available 2025 in Somerset County and will be a prospect to track all season long. The 6'9 forward has a good touch around the basket and is able to finish through contact. Biekietov can also put the ball on the floor and can knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and swats shots around the basket. Biekietov is a talented forward prospect who should make a name for himself throughout the winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2339152' first='Stanley' last='Njeke'], 6'5 SF Gill St. Bernard's

Njeke is an intriguing prospect to watch in the class with his ability to play either the three or the four. The 6'5 forward attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Njeke rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt and uses his size to see over his defender. He elevates for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Njeke is a lanky forward prospect whose ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1412734' first='Luke' last='Kreitz'], 6'0 PG Ridge

Kreitz is one of the top shooters in the Skyland Conference and should put it on display this season. The 6'0 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Kreitz can also score in the mid-range and is able to find his open teammates in the halfcourt. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated defender. Kreitz is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should torch the nets from distance this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2116520' first='Jackson' last='Morrison'], 6'3 SG Bound Brook

Morrison is one of the top returning scorers in the Garden State and should put up big numbers again in his senior season. The 6'3 guard has a clean shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Morrison is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the paint off the bounce and finish around the basket. He is a strong rebounder and slides his feet on the defensive end. Morrison had five 30-point games last season and is looking to hit that mark again in 2024-25.

Kobe Closeill, 6'1 PG Gill St. Bernard's

Closeill has the potential to breakout this season with his ability to play on and off the ball. The 6'1 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and finishes nicely around the basket. Closeill has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He pushes the pace well in transition and is a tough on-ball defender. Closeill's ability to run the offense effectively is something that will help his development over the next couple of months.
