Kreitz has had an excellent season so far shooting the basketball. Kreitz is averaging about 2-3 threes a game and will dominate the catch-and-shoot game. He has deep range and will increase the more he makes throughout a game. He looks to tire out defenders chasing him around as he runs off multiple off-ball screens to get open shots from the perimeter. On the fastbreak, he creates lots of space by running to the corners to create driving lanes for his teammates by spreading the defense out.

Kreitz is a player who looks to dominate the catch-and-shoot game from deep. He can take over games with his ability to shoot the basketball. His range is deep and will increase the more he makes throughout a game. Kreitz will find creative ways to get open and likes to use off-ball screens to help him out. He works well in the fastbreak and spreads the floor out nicely allowing his teammates to get open driving lanes in the paint.

Kreitz has a high release point and will look to shoot on the wings on the perimeter. He has respectable range that forces defenses to press up on him farther away than they would like. Kreitz is excellent off the catch-and-shoot opportunities and can hit those tough contested shots. He knows exactly when to call for the ball when it’s down in the post. Kreitz made 49 three-pointers this past season.

Kreitz is more of a scoring point guard than a playmaker but that isn’t to say that he can’t be playmaker when he does. He has deep range from behind the arc with a nice sweet release that is just automatic every time the ball leaves his hands. His defense is good and moves his feet well giving him the potential to be a nice two-way point guard in the future. However, Kreitz should look to be a playmaker more for his teammates because it will only help elevate his game to the next level.
