These players showed off their game on Sunday, wrapping up the final Prep Hoops Circuit event of the Summer. Each of these guys had a great season and will be major contributors to each of their high school teams this upcoming Winter

A backcourt of Roach and [player_tooltip player_id='2126461' first='Cal' last='Spencer'] is something that any team would want, and Roach is someone who may fly under the radar a little bit. He usually is not the main scoring threat, but if you play off of him he could be up to 10 points quickly. The part of his game that I found the most fun to watch was his defense. His on ball is very strong and worth noting for sure, but what he did off ball was super impressive to me. He was constantly talking to his teammates about screens or where he had help, and was disrupting the passing lanes all day. He had a few tipped passes that led to fast breaks or easy layups, and had a clutch steal late that sealed the win against a sneaky 2028 [program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic'] team that featured some really high level shooters.

Kamp is a player that impressed me in many different facets of the game on both Saturday and Sunday. His Magic team was playing up, and he didn't shy away from any matchups. With the ball in his hands, Kamp looked comfortable shooting from outside, driving to the hoop, and even backing a defender down for a look at the rim. He hit shots from all three of those spots, but it seems like he's just starting to put them all together to become really polished. He is also tall enough and quick enough to guard just about anyone 1-5, which is a trait few players possess.

Playing against a team from out West, Watts was ready for the challenge on Sunday. He took great pride in his defense all day, and really held it down when the AZ Dragons went on a run to bring it within 2 with just under 8 minutes left to play. Super effective on-ball defense caused the ball handler to become flustered and throw the ball away, sparking fast breaks and transition opportunities. Watts also looked more comfortable with the ball compared to when I watched them earlier this summer, willing to attack the basket off the dribble and made a few contested buckets around the rim.

When his AZ Dragons squad went down big early, they needed some sort of scoring spark to mount some sort of comeback. Hawkins did that for his team. Within two minutes of being in the game, he had 6 straight points and brought his team within six of the Blue Chips. The buckets did not come easy either, he worked for all of them and really kept the energy alive for his team. Hawkins was a good facilitator all day, setting up the offense and directing his teammates where to go on botched plays or just resetting the offense.

What I realized after this weekend is that the Blue Chips have a plethora of skilled/athletic/tenacious guards, and Jaedin adds to that group for sure. He is a very strong ball handler who can get around the defender at ease. One play really stood out to me, where Jaedin drove deep in the paint, stopped on a dime to drop his defender, and rose up for a short pull-up jumper. Plays like that are what spark some energy into teams and are crucial to keep the momentum on your side. Really impressed by Williams overall game.
