When I saw him play last week, it was his jumper with volleyball line range that was on display. This week, it was his ability to handle and control pace that stood out to me. Jensen showed that he could advance the ball with both the dribble and the pass. It was his best defensive performance of the summer. Viehman hustled back on D and challenged shooters at the rim. His decision making was solid as well. Viehman didn't over dribble and was a willing passer when the help D closed in. If he was selfish, he'd average 20 points a game. But he's not. Gugle plays basketball the right way - defending, rebounding and finding the best shot whether it be for his teammates or himself. In a halfcourt set, he worked really well off the high post. He was reliable catching the ball and made good decisions as to where it should go next. McCollum showed that he could make the pass from the free throw line as well as take a 1 or dribble attack at the rim. He has a next level frame and strength which allows him to play much bigger than his height. In fact, he may have led the team in rebounds the last 2 weeks. Zickert can straight line drive with physicality and makes good decisions as to when to kick to a shooter.
