Recruiting Report: Keshawn Williams (2020)

Bloom 2020 shooting guard Keshawn Williams was the best player on the floor in the top 60 all-star game this fall at the Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp this fall.  He is only 6’1”, but can really flat out score!  Williams is a thin and wiry two guard that has crisp handles and an explosive first step.  Good straight line driver off the bounce.  He also shoots the ball well from three.  D1 prospect that if he grows could be a mid-major. Williams spoke about his summer on the circuit with Young & Reckless. “My summer went good.  I got a lot better over the summer.  Hopefully that can transfer over to the high school season.” With Williams and his sophomore running mates Bloom is one of the teams to watch this season to see how they progress.  What is it like to play with a talented group of players all the same age? “It is good because we know how each other play.” He told us the strengths in his game. “Athleticism, can shoot, pull up game.” UIC jumped in the mix early with an offer. “It is a good program.  Their coach is a really good coach.  I wasn’t really expecting it.” He spoke about the visit to see the Flames. “We watched them practice.  They have a lot of athleticism.” Butler is another school that is showing some initial early interest.
