NorCal 2026's at 3SSB Championships In Rock Hill

PH NorCal spent the first two days in Rock Hill South Carolina at the 3SSB Palmetto Championships. Our two days were showcase games before pool play began. We were able to see a couple of standouts our NorCal 2026 class that played well against quality competition.    He's grown a bit and has established himself as a quality combo guard at this stage who can impact games with his style of play. He was aggressive maneuvering his way into the paint from different angles finishing on both sides of the rim. He plays at a good place and can effectively run a team while putting points on the board.     He's starting to unleash his all around scoring prowess with this group. He'll use a series of moves finishing around the rim, scoops, one handed controlled layups avoiding hard hits. He's getting into the paint, spinning, using balance, and fade aways to complete the paint jumper. He'll drop a 3ptr at anytime. He's long and moving well on defense.     We like the feel and pace that Dre plays with . He doesn't force the issue, but he can explode at any given time during a game. He's more of a slasher, and cutter who attacks the rim hard and will finish. He excels in transition ball, he's active on the boards.     He's a durable point guard who turns up the intensity level when he steps on the court. He's a solid body ball handler who can run a team, pass first maybe? He can get his own shot. He shows toughness attacking the rim challenging bigger defenders, he'll handle the contact. He's a good passer, and a hard working on ball defender.     He's a long body wing type that comes in and does the things you want to see. He works hard to defend his position, he hustle to fill lanes even though he might not get it, he'll work his way in for rebounds. He'll use his length to rebound and defend multiple positions. He gives good effort for his minutes on the court.       He's holding his own against quality competition. He's showing his overall skill set. He'll knock corner 3's, use his speed, and handles attack the basket when the opportunity presents itself. He's using his lengthy arms and foot speed to defend out on the perimeter, and help rebound.     He's growing, still a bit wobbly, but has a nice frame to fill. At 6''8 he has an improving skill set. He's moving with a purpose. He'll use his dribble one, two, maybe three aggressively looking for his shot, elbow jumpers, corner 3's. His long strides across the lane, results in finishes in and around the rim. a good upside.
