Most of these players finished their weekend earlier today, and we’ll have recaps from the Sat night/Sun afternoon games coming in the next couple days. Here are the wing standouts from day 2 (Saturday).

For a freshman, Eason has an incredibly mature body that should only continue to grow both horizontally and vertically as he gets older; he’s 6-foot-4 with long arms and solid strength. He can hit the outside shot and has a nice looking release from there, and he’s also able to drive closeouts and punish defenders at the rim. He showed solid movement offensively in the middle of a 2-3 zone break and he plays hard defensively.

Reynolds was maybe the best athlete I saw today; just a ridiculous above-the-rim leaper who barely needs any runway to lift off. He can handle it and get to his pull-up jumper game, but those offensive skills are still coming. When he can put more advanced skills together with his athleticism, he’ll be a highly sought after prospect.

Benjamin is one of the smartest off-ball movers I saw today. He has a great knack for when his defender’s back is turned and gets tons of back cuts and slot cuts as a result. He never stops moving and makes ultra-quick decisions when he gets the ball. He’s also able to finish with both hands and has solid body control and patience in the paint.
Carlson is a 6-foot-5 wing with great size – a textbook college small forward. His most prolific skill is his three-point shooting but he does all of the little things on both ends; getting 50/50 balls, attacking the offensive glass and moving without the ball. He’ll play at Williams College next season, one of the best D3 programs in the country.

Julien Price
Price is only a sophomore and has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. He makes reads far beyond his years and is long and rangy. He’s very skilled – can dribble, pass and shoot – and he also shows flashes of impressive athleticism that’ll almost certainly improve as he gets older. Wouldn’t be surprised if he develops into a scholarship level player.
Robinson is the basketball version of a bowling-ball running back. He’s undersized for his position but is incredibly strong and tough. He’s quite aggressive on the glass and when he gets a defensive board, he’s always looking to push in transition. His handle and pull-up game is also fairly advanced. Look for his recruitment to begin to pick up as he’s probably a scholarship player.

Kasim Mirza
Mirza is coming off a senior season in which he averaged 20 points and eight rebounds a game, and he doesn’t look to be slowing down. He had multiple excellent finishes at the rim today, extending his long reach and converting with both hands. He also showed an interesting post-up game which he uses when being guarded by shorter wings. Mirza’s recruitment should pick up in his post-grad year.
