Section 7 Day Two Standouts

PH NorCal was in Glendale, Arizona June 21-23 for the Top High School Summer Tournament on the West Coast. NorCal had 18 teams come to the desert for this event. A lot of NorCal teams played at the same time. We made every effort to see a NorCal team play at least once. Here a some Standouts from the games we saw on Saturday Day 2 in the Desert    He's an improving prospect who'll be a key piece for this young team. At 6'7 he's long and giving effort on both ends. He's confident shooting the elbow jumper, he's a bit more aggressive inside going after rebounds, and blocks. His numbers should tick up a bit. Game 2: 5/6 FG 12pts, 4R, 2B.     We've seen him in the Spring play with a team that allowed him to handle the ball away from the basket. It's paying off for the rising 2026. He used his strength, and handles to attack the rim regularly at this event. He's still a work in progress but it's coming. He's long, strong and can get things done in the paint as well.     He's NorCal's #2 in the 2026 class because [player_tooltip player_id='1702934' first='Tyran' last='Stokes']. Nevertheless he's been consistent in what he does on the court. He has the ability to take over a game during any stretch, getting a steal, blocking a shot, or going on a scoring spree with his ability to make shots, pull up jumpers, strong attacks to the rim, open 3's. He's a willing passer, and a top notch defender. Game 2: 7/11FG, 4/6, 3-ptr, 3/4FT, 8R, 21pts, 2B, 3S     Grayson doing what he does best controlling the pace and flow like a conductor. He doesn't seem to tire out there. In a game Tech was trailing 41-23 at the half, Grayson led the comeback 5/16 shooting, 9/15 FT. He was two rebounds shy of a triple double with 8R, 20pts, dishing out 14A, 4stls, and a block.     We got a chance to see the improvement of the versatile Bradford. He's long, growing, and playing with confidence. He's a top notch defender with long arms and foot speed. He's a wing type, good in transition, and getting to the basket from the perimeter with improved moves, and handles, and a first step. Game 2: 4/7 FG's, 4R,10pts, 4A, 4S, 1B. He's rising     He's a big guard with improving guard skills. He handles, passes with vision looking to facilitate. His ability to drive, get into the paint, and see over smaller defenders to find shooters, and cutters was noted. He makes the long cross court pass with zip. His mid-range jumper off the dribble, or in the paint goes in. Game 2: 10/13 FG's, 4R, 24pts, 2A, 1S.     He's steady, and productive in this offense. He's a true combo right now, he brings it up often, did okay handling, and helping with ball pressure. He showed patience up top keeping his dribble live, waiting for the play to develop. He can penetrate, dish, plant, and hit the paint jumper. He moves, and screens off ball. He can hit the 3ptr if left open. Game 2: 7R, 9Pts,     He's a muscular, bouncy forward with good activity in the paint area on both ends. He's put in work to expand his game, but for now he's been productive working the post area on both ends. He has power dunks going up under the rim for one and two handed dunks, he's using a dribble or slashing in from the baseline for strong finishes at the rim, he gets lift on the paint jumper. He'll go after blocks, get rebounds. He's an active defender in the post. He runs the court. Game 2: 5/9 FG's, 9R, 10Pts, 3B, 1S.
