Young is probably one of the biggest movers in the latest rankings update as he moves from 44th to No. 18 in the class. He’s fielded offers from Illinois, East Carolina, Hampton, Mississippi State and others since joining Team Thad on the EYBL scene this grassroots cycle. He’s a crafty scoring guard who’s producing 8.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 34 percent from deep. He’s a 2026 prospect to get to know!
Highlights
Garris is a big guard prospect who’s really improved on his strength/frame over the past few months. He took home MVP honors and put on a show at this year’s 252 Invitational as he showcased his ability to operate off the bounce and without the ball in his hands with consistency. He’s an underrated name for DI and DII programs to get eyes on on the independent scene with Warriors Life Elite out of Hertford County High.
Highlights
Johnson is another big guard prospect due to turn a corner with United Faith Christian Academy this season. He produced 7.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest as a sophomore and has been a tear with Team Curry on the UA scene in leading the backcourt. He’s a versatile threat at 6-foot-5 who’s slowly figuring out how to control the pace with the ball in his hands. He’s a name for college programs to get eyes on in July.
Highlights
Another massive riser in the latest rankings update, Gatehouse is much more than a combo guard given his length at 6-foot-4 and ability to be a presence on both ends of the floor. He battles for boards and plays unselfish in his approach, finding openings to both score the ball and finish at the rim with authority. He’s one of a few names to get to know with South Mecklenburg High this upcoming season.
Highlights
Johnson moves from No. 64 into the 42nd spot in the latest rankings update as he continues to show his growth with Team CP3 Academy on the EYCL Champions stage. He’s a shifty floor general who’s improved tremendously on his overall strength and it’s shown in his ability to absorb contact in the painted area and make things happen off the bounce. He’s due for a strong junior year at Caldwell Academy this season.
