Gonzales had a very good all-around performance vs Peoria Manual. As a shooter, he showed he can hit shots in a variety of ways. Very creative off the dribble. Utilizes the pump fake really well, too. Even backed down a defender for an inside score. Lots of assists as a passer while playing very good on-ball defense. Led the crusaders with 15 points offensively. Also scored 15 vs Westinghouse earlier in the day.
A solid, 26-point performance for Williams vs Marian Catholic. I really like his ability to create shots off the dribble and stay consistent in all phases of the game. Three level scorer.
Had a 23-point performance vs Metea Valley this morning. Gawron also scored 16 in a dominant win vs Marian Catholic. Will look to watch him more next weekend.

He was the most impressive Peoria Manual player vs Brother Rice. Dangerous speed up the floor and blew by defenders on numerous cases for easy buckets. Also showed excellent vision in transition. A lot of players contributed in this game for manual but Richardson‘a play was eye-catching.
One of the top 2026 prospects in Illinois. Brown was a beast on the defensive glass vs New Trier. Offensively, he has top-level speed for a player his size with three-level scoring capabilities. Finished strong over contact while also displaying excellent body control and footwork with the ball. Can easily him as an elite SF/PF at the next level.
Powell had several strong performances this weekend and capped it off with a 22-point showing vs Lake Forest. Before that, he scored 21 pts in a tight loss to Evanston and 16 vs Metamora. Three-level scorer that I hope to watch more down the line.

Very athletic guard for perspectives that I hadn’t watched before. Against Oak Lawn, he showed tons of confidence attacking the lane while finishing consistently through contact. Also swatted a shot out of bounds on the fast break.
A very bright spot on Oak Lawn. Never panicked when his team was down late vs Perspectives. Took over the game and brought them back in it. Smooth shooting stroke, hitting several outside shots including a four-point play in the final two minutes. Can score inside and on the wing, too. Also plays really hard defense man-to-man.
