The wait is finally over as we have updated our 2025 rankings yet again! The class is becoming very familiar to us as we have been evaluating them for years now, but there's always updates to it.

Next on our line of content, we dive into our positional rankings separating them into guards, wings and forwards.

Here's a look at part two of the top point and combo guards in the class.

15) [player_tooltip player_id='1956065' first='Jackson' last='Britt'] | 6'3” CG | Evergreen Christian (#40 Overall)

Britt is having a great spring with Higher Level after a breakout year at Evergreen, and he's showing he's one of the more skilled guards in the NOVA area. The 6'3” combo guard is a natural bucket getter as he can catch-and-shoot from deep and get to spots in the midrange, he plays off two when he gets downhill and he's able to work both in isolation and pick-and-roll to create shots for himself and others.

14) [player_tooltip player_id='2451931' first='Jalen' last='St. Clair'] | 5'11” PG | Word of Life (#39 Overall)

St. Clair has quietly been one of the top guards in the NOVA area playing at a smaller school, but he's been on a tear on the 3SSB Circuit with the Washington Warriors so far this spring. The 5'11” lead guard is a smooth lefty who is quick off the bounce and has great speed in transition, he can knock down shots from deep off the catch and off the bounce, he has a great middle game and he's so shifty he's very hard to guard in isolation.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='1494113' first='Camryn' last='Pacheco'] | 6'4” CG | Spotswood (#36 Overall)

Pacheco is an All State player who has been one of the top players in the Harrisonburg area over the past few years, and he's following right in the footsteps of his brother who is now at Mount St. Mary's. Pacheco is a big guard who can play on or off the ball and is a natural scorer, he can knock down shots from deep, is excellent in the mid-post area and is a crafty finisher when he gets downhill too.

12) EJ Schneeburg | 6'2” PG | Potomac School (#34 Overall)

Schneeburg is an all-around guard who has shown he's one of the best in the NOVA area, and is someone who could see his recruitment pick up during the June live period. He's a true floor general who understands the game and puts others in positions to succeed, he can score the ball from all three levels and all over the floor and he's a very good rebounder and defender at his position too.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='1339892' first='Julian' last='Rivera'] | 6'1” PG | Highland School (#31 Overall)

Rivera is one of those players who just makes his team better as he's willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win, and is the perfect guy to help run a talented team. He's a very good defender who will take on the other team's best perimeter player and has great instincts to jump passing lanes, he is crafty off the bounce to get in the lane where he's a good playmaker and he's an efficient scorer from multiple levels too.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='1494106' first='Shane' last='Lincoln'] | 6'4” CG | Bishop O'Connell (#23 Overall)

Lincoln falls victim to playing with a number of nationally ranked players in the same backcourt as him, but there's no doubt if he went to a lesser school he could be one of the top players pretty much anywhere else. At 6'4” he has great size and long arms that allows him to get deflections and challenge shots, he's shifty off the bounce and explosive when he gets downhill to finish above the rim and he can move off the ball where he can knock down shots from deep too.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1956063' first='Adrean' last='Newton'] | 6'0” PG | Maury (#22 Overall)

Newton took a big jump in the rankings and has been one of the top guards in the 757 starting at Maury since he was a freshman, and he's shown he can be the go-to guy or run a talented team as well. He's a tough nosed guard who gets after it on both ends of the floor, he touches the paint and makes plays for others, he's an efficient scorer from all over the floor and he has a toughness and winning vibe to him as well.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1494115' first='Cy' last='Hardy'] | 6'0” PG | Northside (#21 Overall)

Hardy was the Class 3 Player of the Year after leading Northside to their second straight state championship, and he's one of the most under recruited players in the state in my opinion. The 6'0” lead guard is crafty as they come with the ability to break down defenders and get in the paint, he scores it efficiently from all three levels, he has a great IQ and makes plays for others and he has become much more athletic as a finisher and defender since growing into his body.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1494111' first='Masiah' last='Stevens'] | 5'10” PG | Woodside (#17 Overall)

Steven is another underrated and under recruited player who has helped Woodside to back-to-back state championships, and his raw talent and athleticism makes him a very high upside prospect. While he's not the biggest guard he's super explosive with a quick first step and the ability to climb the later and hang in the air on finishes, he's excellent in transition where he can get downhill or make plays for others and he is a pest on the defensive end as well.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1494112' first='Troy' last='Henderson'] | 6'1” PG | Lancaster (#15 Overall)

Henderson took a big leap in these rankings after leading Lancaster to a second straight state championship, winning his second straight state Player of the Year award and being a standout on the 3SSB Circuit with Team Loaded. While he isn't the biggest or most athletic guard, Henderson brings everything you want in a lead guard to the table. He's a high IQ player who is savvy and understands concepts really well, he is a very good shooter from deep and in the midrange and he's always seeing the game one play ahead of others.

The wait is finally over as we have updated our 2025 rankings yet again! The class is becoming very familiar to us as we have been evaluating them for years now, but there's always updates to it.
