2027 Rankings Update Top Risers

PH NorCal has updated our 2027 rankings. These are the prospects who have made a rise up in the rankings because of their play.    Hawkins has played up at the 17u level. He's more than holding his own. He's showing us he can effectively run the point guard position with quality handles, vision and good decision making, while being a capable point producer, driving, pulling up for the short jumper, and a 3.       He's been a consistent performer this Spring against quality competition. The solid body point guard does well settling the team in half-court. He's an excellent pass first guard with the ability to generate his own buckets. He'll knock down open 3's along the perimeter, penetrate the paint, finish or kick it out, he's hitting the mid-range.     He continues to be a productive guard with a good skill set at the 15u level. He plays within the flow of the game, makes good decisions. He's shooting the ball well with good shot selection. He has defensive qualities we hadn't seen before. He's progressing.     A crafty ball handler, that probes his way around the perimeter looking to slip through an opening for driving lay-ups handling contact, or pulling up jumpers off the dribble. He has vision, a willing passer, works well in open space.He has 3pt range.     He's our tallest and highest ranked Center 6'9 in the 2027 class. He's still developing as a prospect, and on the offensive side. He's an active player on the defensive side using his length and quick jump to block and change shots, and rebound. He's a good court runner, he'll finish around the rim. He'll pass, screen and roll.     He's made strides this Spring as a perimeter player. He has the handles to aggressively look for points working along the perimeter. We've seen him go by a defenders for short jumpers. He can make open 3's from the corners, and along the perimeter. He'll attack the rim in transition.     Whites making a name for himself playing against quality competition, EYBL 15. He has a good set of guard skills, quality handles, speed to go by defenders, and he shoots the ball well pulling up for dime jumpers, and knocking down big 3's with the game on the line. He brings good intensity.
