David is one of the quickest guards I’ve seen all spring. Against an 88 West team that had some height in their backcourt, David seemed to be running circles around them at times. He could go coast-to-coast in transition in the blink of an eye, but was at his best attacking and dishing it out in the half-court. So good at getting two feet in the lane, stopping on a dime, and pivoting to locate an open shooter. Defensively he was utilizing his lateral quickness to pressure the ball hard and force a number of mistakes out of opposing guards.

Balisidyas’s on-ball defense is incredible. He had three steals while pressing the other team, leading to easy buckets. With one of the better defenders guarding him, he was unafraid to attack the bucket. With a defender setting up for a charge right before him, Balisidya stopped on a dime and floated one right over the defender’s head for an easy bucket. He had four steals in the second half alone. Balisidya played a terrific two-way game and was a key contributor to his team’s success. He definitely built up confidence over the course of the game, which was noticeable with his play.
