However, the 5’8 Mills might have been their most valuable player for his ability to defend on the perimeter & get the ball to the right players at the right time. A true past first point guard, his numbers don’t jump out at you, but his impact on the Generals success can’t be questioned.

Many believe that Grant will be on the short list of state title contenders in 2027 & 2028. If they are to surprise the basketball world & make a run to the Chiles Center this year, the play of Mills may prove key. The 5’9 point guard, brings tremendous value with his ability to push the ball in transition & pressure the other teams ball handlers on the defensive end of the floor.
