On April 13th I attended the WCE AZ Spring Preview located at the Phhacility in Phoenix. I watched 15-17U and found some incoming talented freshmen plus some good unsigned seniors looking for college homes.

Here were the top unsigned seniors I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='2412251' first='Max' last='Bynum'] Westview (AZ Legacy 17) (Pictured)

A very fast combo guard flies up the court better then most in the gym almost like a track runner. The lefty has a nice free throw stroke and takes extremely long strides to the basket. He can score it from the perimeter and he is a good passer in traffic and shows plus body control in the lane. He averaged 16 ppg and recently earned an offer from Justice College and you see why.

[player_tooltip player_id='1876010' first='Dayton' last='Foster'] ALA West-Foothills (Desert Elite 17)

A dynamic and shifty pure point guard who can score. The ball is clearly on a string for him and will make plays for his teammates with slick passes. He will burst down the lane and use the floater game and score on runners in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='2250252' first='Sebastiano' last='Patane'] Yuma Catholic (Desert Elite 17)

A scoring combo guard can shoot it and make plays. He is deceptively quick to get to the basket and will rise up and shoot it from mid-range. He can also shoot the three off the dribble or catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386952' first='Prince' last='Sohn'] South Pointe (AZ Legacy 17)

A scoring point guard with a very quick first step. He will needle thread it in to his teammates and will stop on a dime and go quickly to the basket. When his feet are set, he'll knock down the three off the catch and he will even throw it down on the break.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412252' first='Mike' last='Alexander'] Phhoenix Prep (AZ Legacy 17)

A physical power forward is super strong inside and will score around the hoop effectively. He demands a double team when is posting up and he can put the ball on the floor and create his own offense in the paint. He will even step out and hit the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='1178337' first='Gabriel' last='Emerson'] McClintock (Tru Heat 17)

A highly skilled face-up power forward has the size, skill and strength. He can score in the paint with offensive rebound put backs, hit the catch in rhythm and will bang inside with bigger players.

[player_tooltip player_id='1033063' first='Jay-Juan' last='Gould'] Phhoenix Prep (Team RHJ 17)

A high flying combo guard is a two-way player. He plays the passing lanes, blocks shots and rebounds well for his size and position. He will score getting downhill and uses his deadly spin move as always to score. He can make off balance shots look normal and brings immense energy in every game.
