Profile:
With the transfer of Jeremiah Tilmon out of state Champaign Central sophomore Tim Finke becomes the top prospect regardless of class in the state of Illinois. The athletic wing can both dunk on you with explosion and drill threes for days on the perimeter. His upside is tremendous and should be under consideration for five-star status nationally.
Odds to Win:
20/1
Why he Can Win:
Finke put up impressive numbers from the jump at Centennial last year. After the transfer to Champaign Central Tim and his senior brother Nick will be the center pieces of a team that should be very good. Finke will be the must see guy in central Illinois this season and has the recognition with his famous last name in the heart of the state. They will play games both in the Chicago area and in southern Illinois so he will be seen throughout the state during the season.
Obstacles to Win:
Sophomores do not win this award period. Even if they are the best prospect it never happens.
