Recruiting Report: Vahe Kalayjian (2018)

<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Loyola 2018 shooting guard <strong>Vahe Kalayjian</strong> is a 6’2” two guard that can create off the bounce for himself and others getting in the lane and finishes including some and-1’s.  Also drives hard to the hoop and kicks to open teammates on the perimeter.  Nice mid-range jumper as well.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Kalayjian impressed at the NY2LA Sports Futures Camp.  He broke down how the event went.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“It went really well.  It was great competition out here.  Come out and compete.”</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The sophomore described the strengths in his game.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“I would say an all-around guard that facilitates and gets my guys open.  Shooter that also likes to attack the rim too.”</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">On the travel team circuit he competed with All-In Athletics 15U this past summer.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“As a team I thought we did really well.  Individually I was aggressive and went up against good competition.  Battled it out every day.”</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">What is he looking forward to this upcoming high school season?</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“Playing with my teammates and having fun.  Winning as many games as we possibly can.”</span></span></p>
