Best Performances Tonight: Jeremiah Brooks Jeremiah Brooks 6'0" | PG Greenwood | 2025 State SC – County Line Elite
Brooks led his way with 18 points in the win tonight for his squad. Jeremiah finished strong all night long attacking the basket off the dribble and getting to the rim at ease. He really does a nice job of being active in the passing lanes and picking up steals and deflections. Jeremiah was able to create separation on his jumpers here today while knocking down some nice 1-2 dribble pull-ups. Brooks attends Greenwood HS.
Long Range Shooter: Zeke Garris – Thrill Skill
Garris hails from Asheville, NC and played at Asheville HS this past season. Garris told Prep Hoops he will reclassify and be a member of the 2026 class next year. He will look to make the move over to Carolina Day next year to play in Asheville.
Garris dropped 30 points in a loss while connecting on 7 three-pointers from downtown. Zeke has a nice stroke from behind arch and he never seemed to force his shot at all.
Well Balanced: Team South Carolina
Team South Carolina playing up an age group cruised in its opening game over the SC Phenoms. The Red, Black and Gray squad received balanced scoring from the whole roster tonight.
Jackson Conley Jackson Conley 6'7" | PF Daniel | 2026 State SC has looked to grow a bit this past season. Conley now 6’8 moves really well around the floor and really likes to play face-up to the cup. Jackson ran the floor well and really felt comfortable playing from the corners.
Gavin Griffin Gavin Griffin 6'4" | SF Greenville | 2026 SC could see some minutes on the Greenville HS Red Raiders roster next season. Griffin a forward is a quick leaper on the floor with good length. He was able to handle the rock a bit at times tonight and showed to drive to the cup with 2-3 dribbles.
Arkeis Shell Arkeis Shell 5'7" | PG Greenville | 2026 State SC is a lefthanded guard who really brings great energy to the floor for Team South Carolina . Shell made himself available all night long with his hustle. Arkeis was able to connect on a few open jumpers here today.
CJ Durham CJ Durham 6'0" | CG Hillcrest | 2026 State SC and Charlie Streetman Charlie Streetman 6'1" | SG Woodmont | 2025 State SC both provided production tonight in the win. Durham was able to attack the cup at times and finish at the rim when needed. Streetman who attends Woodmont HS connected on a few short mid-range jumpers. Charlie was constantly around the ball to make a play.
Just a Youngster: Zakarion Simpson Zakarion Simpson 6'3" | PF Laurens | 2027 State SC – SC Phenoms
Simpson plays down the road at Laurens HS. Nicknamed Zee, Simpson really plays active all over the floor and especially down in the paint. He has a nice wingspan to be disruptive at times. Zee was able to defend out on the perimeter with his length and showcase some altering shots skills outside the paint area.
