Ladarrius Brown
Ladarrius “Stretch” Brown put up 20 points, 6 rebounds, and snatched away 4 steals to get a win over the Nevada Bluejays in the 1A State Championship game. It was an MVP awarding performance for the Indian guard/forward. He shot the ball well from outside but made the most of the game early on getting transition buckets tallying 11 in the first quarter. Leading wire to wire in large part due to tough defending Brown and Marked Tree held their opponents to below 50% shooting from the field for the game. A 23-game win streak took them through the season and into the playoffs for the win after a runner up trip last year.
Jacob Gaines Jacob Gaines 6’0″ | CG East Poinsett County | 2026 State AR had a top tier game against Marshall High School to lead his EPC Warriors to a 2A State Championship. He earned most valuable player putting up 22 points and 9 rebounds, 1 rebound short of a double-double. The sophomore battled thru the zone defense for a handful of tough off balance baskets. Gaines showed his athletic jumping in the game snagging rebounds that seemed out of his area. The Marshall Bobcats started the 4th quarter in front by 7 but the Warriors fought tirelessly to jump back out ahead and win late into the 4th quarter. The underdog aspect worked so well this entire post season as they defeated three #1 seeds to claim the trophy.

was one of many great young players on the court in the 6A State Championship game. He stepped up and made crucial timely plays for the Tigers on their way to victory. He was a major floor spacer helping create big shots and making huge shots of his own. He pitched in 14 points with a big dagger 3 to seal the deal, he contributed 4 rebounds, as well. He played well out of pick and roll sets and was a game changer for his Little Rock Central team on both ends of the court. A proven winner, set to run it back next season as a senior leader.

Deriyon Graydon
Deriyon Graydon
Deriyon Graydon is a solid two way forward who played a huge part in Pine Bluff’s win over Benton. He helped secure the victory in the 5A State Championship game by being a tremendous, athletic paint beast. He had the task of guarding Benton’s best player who was nowhere near an easy match up and still managed to put up 14 must have points. Even though he was in a bit of foul trouble it never led him away from his aggression, he boxed out great and pulled down 6 boards. He covered block to block very well with good awareness and active hands for a bunch of deflections and a block. Back to back state championships in which he answered the call in both the junior is looking to step up and lead his Zebras next season.
