High-Ceiling 13/14U Players to Watch

The state of Arkansas had plenty of players attend, across multiple age ranges. It is not rare to see the forward pin a shot off the backboard or even do a 360 windmill in transition. Besides having all the intangibles, Peppers is as skillful as anyone in his class. Offensively, he consistently finishes well through contact around the rim. Getting to the foul line at a high rate, continued work on his shot will be crucial. Showing more than just scoring, he made multiple nice passes at the top of the key. On the defensive side of the ball, Justin positions himself well for rebounds and is aggressive on the glass. He showcased an ability to score on and off the ball. Mostly hunting threes, Washington has extreme confidence in his shot selection. The guard also jumped passing lanes regularly, showing great anticipation before making a play on the ball. He's a capable shooter, but where he really shines is in the post. He flashed multiple great moves down low, scoring with both hands. Using good athleticism, Bailey is a major threat on the boards. Nothing proved that more than when he missed a mid-range jumper and got his own rebound for the tip back. He's not afraid of contact, which normally leads to him getting to the free-throw line. Bailey has shown confidence with the ball, even sometimes breaking down opponents on an iso. He has all the tools needed to be a star. Demonstrating a pretty jump shot, he can shoot from just about anywhere on the floor. While usually being an off-ball threat on the perimeter, DJ did show confidence from the mid-range area. He was also able to get past defenders, which is a part of his game he will need to utilize more. Fowler has great overall scoring ability and even more potential. Standing at 6'4, he matches the size with good speed. Williams is an efficient shooter from the perimeter, showing he is more than just a presence down low. He will need to work on ball-handling and overall strength with the ball. That being said, Damari already has the ability to go coast to coast off a rebound. Moving well for his size, he's able to challenge opponents at the rim on both sides of the court.
