Venom Rankings Run Recap: Fresh Faces

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Venom Rankings Run took place March 10th at Mojave High School. The event featured players from the class of 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 all looking for the opportunity to increase, or in the case of the 2028 class get on the rankings radar. Several players used the games as an opportunity for the later. He has a good offensive skill set and shot the heck out of the ball. He made a ton of corner threes in the game, and flashed a strong handle when facing pressure in both the full and 1 v 1 situations. The unranked player, certainly earned a ranking with his performance. He showed tremendous shooting versatility, knocking down shots from pick and pop, catch and shoot, and off the bounce. Once I was able to accurately identify the Gorman Wing, I found myself impressed. He had a good handle, and was accurate in catch and shoot action. He played hard, sprinting the floor and finishing in transition. He competed hard on the defensive end, moving his feet and being a genuine pest on the defensive end. On the offensive end, he aggressively attacked, probing the defense, while getting consistent lane touches off the bounce. He flashed an impressive handle, weaving his way through defenders. He had a good showing in the 2027 game, especially on the offensive end. He made open threes from catch and shoot action, and did a good job of attacking in transition. He did not disappoint. I thought he did a really good job of picking his spots, and then attacking. He showed the ability to shoot the ball off the bounce, which made him even more dangerous when attacking the rim.
