McLaurin is an agile hybrid-forward who frequently stuffs the stat book with double doubles. On the spring 2025 circuit, McLaurin used his athleticism, length, and speed to fill a lane on the fast break and then finish above the rim. McLaurin’s polished half-court game includes an accurate mid-range jumper as well as the ability to cut to the hoop for a lay-in. He can also attack the rim off one or two dribbles for a bucket. McLaurin is a tenacious offensive rebounder who can convert on those second chance opportunities with defenders hanging all over his arms. As a bonus to his offensive skills, McLaurin is a plus defender with incredible switch-ability.
