Daeveon Adams
Daeveon Adams
Adams played all over the floor vs Henry Clay both in the post and on the perimeter. He did a little bit of everything for them, but I was most impressed with his motor and willingness to guard. He got tough rebounds which led to extra possessions and guarded wings and post players. His versatility makes him an attractive prospect at the next level.
Matthew Golinski
Matthew Golinski
I believe Golinski is the X-Factor for this very talented Bryan Station team. It was a close game early on and when he was inserted into the game, he immediately made back-to-back three’s and a layup which moved momentum completely in Station’s favor. He is an extremely high IQ player that doesn’t get sped up. Has deep 3pt range off the catch and good size to get his shot off over anyone. If he can get them 10-12 points a game they are going to be a force the rest of the season.
Faulkner had an explosive 2nd half vs Henry Clay which put the game out of reach. He is an extremely composed player with deep 3pt range. Does a great job sprinting the floor to get his feet set to shoot. He never got himself in bad situations and settled the team down to get them into offense. Loved his ability to drive using his strength to get defenders on his hip to score. Has great touch around the rim.
Highlights
Brown was a bright spot for Washington County. He is an ultra competitor with great versatility of playing any of the guard positions. Was at his best getting downhill to score at the rim. The ball was in his hands a lot and handled ball pressure pretty well vs Woodford County’s quick guards. Really liked his motor and versatility.
Highlights
Baker utilized his length and athleticism to bother Woodford’s big men. His ability to put the ball on the floor to drive caused them problems as well. Plays more like a guard than a big, but was great around the rim scoring in traffic. He was the best rebounder on the floor and made his presence known in the paint. Really solid player.

Layton Starks
Layton Starks
Starks is a big time athlete that affects the game in so many ways by his size and athleticism. He plays extremely hard which allows him to get easy baskets at the rim. Capable driver from the wing going right. He is a huge threat in transition beating opposing bigs down the floor. Great piece for them.
Jenkins had a really solid game vs Washington County. He never played outside himself by trying to do too much. He took what the defense gave him and utilized his high IQ. Was good in transition but he made a huge 3 in the third quarter that set Woodford into a different mode which allowed them to pull away from Washington County. He is a really solid player that fills a bunch of different roles for them.
Highlights
Stephan played well vs Bryan Station making catch and shoot 3;s and using his strength to help slow down an electric offense that Bryan Station has. He showcased deep 3pt range off the catch and a good ability to get guys on his hip to drive and finish thru contact. Solid performance on his end.
