We are now officially over halfway through the high school basketball season and the final year for the Class of 2024! PHI dives into the senior class this week with our latest rankings release. Here we look at 2024 Rankings: Top Uncommitted Wings!

[player_tooltip player_id='1373451' first='Jurrell' last='Baldwin'] (Hyde Park)

Current Raking: #14

Baldwin is a big and physical small forward that moved back to Illinois after a brief stint at a prep school in Arizona. He returns back to the rankings as the highest ranked uncommitted prospect on the board. The size, strength, and shot making are what you are buying here. He consistently puts up numbers game in and game out. Low-majors and potentially mid-majors should be involved.

[player_tooltip player_id='1373439' first='Shaheed' last='Solebo'] (Lane Tech)

Current Raking: #19

Solebo has been a PHI favorite for a while with his production throughout his career. He has brought it each and every time we have seen him as a senior. The lefty has a strong frame with good length. Sound shooter and gets in the lane with burst off the bounce. Low-major prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1172774' first='Braylon' last='Roman'] (Normal Community)

Current Raking: #20

Roman is a combo that can play some on and off the ball. He is the guy that can knock in mid-range jumpers at a high clip while also being a crisp ball handler. Made major growth as an all-around player on the defensive end as a ball mover on the offensive end. Plays on one of the best teams in the state and low-majors should be all over him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157209' first='Will' last='Gonzalez'] (Curie)

Current Raking: #21

This point-forward is a long and lanky wing that early in his career shined as a distributor with his passing instincts. Over the last year his defense has really made us take notice and the biggest growth has been as a shooter. Making spot up threes with more consistency. Three and D guy that can play some on the ball when needed. Low-majors get in now!

Tavariyaun Williams (De La Salle)

Current Raking: #23

Williams is a jumbo wing that has great size, athleticism, and strength. We saw a turn in his game over the summer from potential to production. When he is locked in Williams is one of the better wings in the class with the way he can dominate scoring in the open floor, rebounding, playing defense, and attacking off the bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285492' first='Lee' last='Marks'] (Mt. Carmel)

Current Raking: #24

Marks is a utility wing that might not wow you with his scoring totals night in and night out, but if you watch him as much as we have you see the value. He can really defend multiple positions, rebounds with his bounce along with feel on the glass, good transition passer, and slashes it well in the half court. Low-majors in need of a jack of all trades this is your guy!

[player_tooltip player_id='1285483' first='Niko' last='Newsome'] (Normal Community)

Current Raking: #29

Newsome is a pure bucket getter! We see him as a microwave scorer at the next level with his ability to rip of half a dozen points in a minute. Sound shooter and is a plus athlete. Right now holds multiple D2 offers he is mulling over.

[player_tooltip player_id='1750594' first='Camden' last='Brown'] (Quincy)

Current Raking: #32

Brown is a prospect that we continue to not understand why more D2s have not jumped in on. Long and rangy wing that can shoot it with a feathery stroke from beyond the arc. He plays within the team concept being a ball mover on the perimeter and is an above average defender. No doubt D2 guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='2083269' first='Chase' last='Abraham'] (Thornton)

Current Raking: #39

Abraham has lit up the scoreboards all season long after transferring into Thornton. Plus shooter from three that is having a big season shooting it from beyond the arc. Showing some secondary playmaking skills as well which will help his value.

[player_tooltip player_id='1158757' first='Meyoh' last='Swansey'] (Thornton)

Current Raking: #40

Swansey has really turned it up a notch in the last month. The Romeoville transfer is a long and super duper athletic guard that has one of the better mid-range games in the state. Loves to pull up from 15-18 feet on the regular for buckets. Has been fun to see him attacking the rim with his athleticism, getting after it defensively, and flashing a little more passing than we had previously seen.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285485' first='Richard' last='Lindsey'] (De La Salle)

Current Raking: #44

Lindsey is another wing from De La Salle that should be garnering significant interest from scholarship programs. He is a wing that can play either the two or three at the next level. Sound shot maker that hits them off the catch and has the frame to take a bump at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598740' first='Darshan' last='Thomas'] (Marist)

Current Raking: #47

Thomas is a PHI favorite with the versatility that he brings to the table. Long and rangy wing that can knock down spot up shots, weave his way inside for buckets, stop and pop from mid-range, and post up smaller wing defenders in the post. Good defender and secondary playmaker. He is a guy you want on your team because he makes everything go! D2 guy in our eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1295644' first='Treshawn' last='Blissett'] (Waubonsie Valley)

Current Raking: #48

Blissett has led Waubonsie Valley to an excellent season. We have been fans of the long and lean wing for a while seeing him play a ton with M14 on the PHC. Slick ball handler that can push in the open floor. Good rebounder and shot maker especially off the catch. Productive player that should see that translate to the next level as he can also really defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978583' first='Will' last='Ashford'] (Metea Valley)

Current Raking: #49

Ashford was on that same M14 squad with Blissett the last few years. Stronger bodied forward that could even play some small ball four if needed. Can hit shots, gets on the glass, and brings it game in and game out. D2s should be all over him!

[player_tooltip player_id='1282464' first='Malachi' last='Johnson'] (Rockford Guilford)

Current Raking: #53

Johnson is one of the top players from the Rockford area and has been for several seasons now. Helped lead his team to some big wins in the first half of his senior year. The shooting guard is a microwave type scorer that can rip off points in a hurry!
