Rock Canyon
Terry has been excellent facilitating for this group’s multitude of perimeter shooters and slashers. Consistently finding teammates on well timed backdoor cuts through tight windows, the guard has created plenty of easy scoring opportunities for teammates through the season. No question that Terry is among the most intuitive playmakers in the class, once his three pointer returns to the mean, this group will be nearly unguardable. We cannot forget about his rebounding instincts either, possessing a strong frame that may be leveraged on the glass.
Highlights
The tall shooting guard possesses a compact form that can heat up in droves, he did well maneuvering off-ball for quick release threes off the catch. His wide reach helped instigate opponent passing lanes, deflecting passes and altering decisions otherwise made. He is among the more effective help defenders in the class, covering so much ground along the perimeter.
Ellwood has been effective pushing the pace, creating instant energy every possession. Always lurking in the passing lanes to get a steal and fast break, the guard is a pest defensively. Grabbing half a dozen steals and deflections, primarily from off-ball rotations. Within transition, Ellwood did particularly well hitting teammates through tight windows, consistently making bounce passes on the move.

Kliewer drilled a couple threes off the catch, showing fluidity rising up for those spot-up attempts. He provided value on the defensive glass, possessing a wide reach to grab loose balls.

Abner was constantly searching for the extra pass, often attacking the rim to find a passing window for a baseline cutter or roller.
Cherry Creek
Constantly hustling for rebounds on either end, Condon is a necessity for opponents to box out. Excellent creating second chance opportunities, the forward is very athletic, quickly rising up off of two feet. The forward maximized his role, drawing fouls off of putbacks or pacing his rim rolls to create wider openings for the ball handler. Even finding ways to post-up opponents for kickout passes, Condon sought out contact on just about every possession. An agent of chaos, the forward has been a bright spot for Cherry Creek this season.
The forward showed shotmaking flashes off the dribble, hitting a couple jumpers through contests. Effective on backdoor cuts, Lyons’ wide reach allows him to score around incoming contests while drawing contact at the rim. His wiry frame gives him opportunities to guard multiple positions, staying fairly mobile laterally. Against larger forwards, Lyons stayed active taking charges when necessary.
Active maneuvering through screen actions for downhill scoring opportunities, Hammond is a focal point of this group. Bringing a consistent motor on the glass, the guard is active leveraging his bounce to grab rebounds in open space. His upside scoring within the mid-range off of a quick change in pace has been exciting to follow.
