Serlen plays with a relentless motor and does all the dirty work. He crashes the glass, finds open lanes, and consistently makes himself available in scoring areas. He looks comfortable operating from the high post, which opened up the offense and got him moving and away from the block. He knocked down threes and attacked closeouts in various games that he watched. He handled physicality well and created second-chance points with his ability to keep plays alive with his size. As the offensive focal point this season, he’s poised for breakout performances. He’s a high-impact, high-usage forward to watch, one who consistently shows he can compete against any competition.
