He's a lengthy, two-way player that can score at all three levels, has deceptively good handles, and has a pro-like release that allows him to shoot the deep ball with the best of them! He's averaging a double-double on the young season and filling up the stat sheet with game averages of 23.7 points per game, 12 rebounds per game, 3.3 assists per game, 2.7 steals per game, and 2 blocks per game. He's a undoubtably a college caliber talent with a high ceiling, and as he continues to attack the rim more and play with the level of physicality he's been playing with to begin the season, coaches will start to give him a closer look.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='2299368' first='Jordan' last='Samuel']","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'6u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"77247","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Winder-Barrow","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"AE5","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2299368' first='Jordan' last='Samuel'] is a 6'6” Wing/Forward in the class of 2025 and has been flying under the radar…with the ability to knock down shots beyond the arc, defend the post and the perimeter, rebound, block shots, and handle the ball without too many turnovers, his versatility as a player allows him to impact the game in different areas every time he touches the court. He's a lefty that catch and shoot, shoot off the dribble, and beat defenders off the dribble going both left and right. Get used to the name. He was tasked the responsibility of being the floor general as a freshman at Cedar Shoals High School. Although last season was a rebuilding one, DJ was able to be a bright spot for the program. He was selected to the Second Team All-Region for the 2022-2023 season and has turned it up a notch by improving on his points per game average, which currently sits at 16.5 ppg. DJ plays freely and has a lot of confidence in his jumper, all while improving his ability, to take defenders off the dribble, and getting more looks around the rim. With him leading the way, Cedar Shoals should have a more successful season this year, in comparison to last year's overall performance.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1559461"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1559461' first='Marcus' last='Gillespie'] is coming off an All-State Selection in the 22-23 season, and a Preseason All-State Selection for 23-24, and so far this season, he has not disappointed at all. He's he attacks the rim well and has explosive first step. He's able to get to his spots on the court and because of his athleticism its normal to seem acrobatic finishes around the rim including dunks. As he continues to be a more efficient jump shooter, it will increase the level of recruitment he's receiving, which already includes an offer from Fort Valley State University and interest from Kennesaw State University and Western Carolina University. Last season he averaged nearly 30 points per game, as a sophomore, and this season he's averaging 26.7 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists respectively. Our rankings have him as the #1 Combo Guard and #7 overall player in the class of 2025 in GA. Watch him one game and you'll see why he's grabbed the attention of some Division I programs.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656665f17969e"} /-->
